  • The mobile app “Calendar Event Reminder (CER)”
  • Associated services and website

3. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of:

The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.

4. Contractual Relationship

Use of the app establishes a user agreement between you and the provider.

5. License

You are granted a:

  • Non-exclusive
  • Non-transferable
  • Revocable

license to use the app.

Premium features (CER+) are licensed, not sold.user agreement between you and the provider.

6. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or decompile
  • Modify or copy the app
  • Use it unlawfully

7. Accounts

Users must:

  • Provide accurate information
  • Keep credentials secure

We may suspend accounts for misuse.

8. In-App Purchases & Refunds

Purchases are processed via app stores.

Refunds:

  • Primarily handled by the platform
  • Otherwise at provider’s discretion

9. Availability & Functionality

The app depends on external factors, including:

  • Operating system restrictions
  • Device settings
  • Battery optimization

No guarantee of uninterrupted availability is provided.

10. Marketing Statements

Statements such as
👉 “Never miss a thing”

are non-binding marketing statements, not guarantees.

11. Warranty Disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law:

  • The app is provided “as is”
  • No guarantees regarding reliability or suitability

12. Limitation of Liability

12.1 Unlimited Liability

The provider is liable without limitation for:

  • Intent (Vorsatz)
  • Gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit)
  • Injury to life, body, or health

12.2 Limited Liability

In cases of simple negligence, liability is limited to:

  • Breach of essential contractual obligations (Kardinalpflichten)
  • Typical, foreseeable damage

12.3 Exclusion of Liability

Otherwise, liability is excluded.

In particular, no liability is assumed for:

  • Missed appointments
  • Failure of notifications
  • Data loss

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify the provider against third-party claims resulting from misuse.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • Terms are violated
  • Service is discontinued

15. Intellectual Property

All rights remain with the provider.

No rights are granted beyond usage.

16. Severability Clause

If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain effective.
